A policy to guide the use, integration, management, and security of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) within Sharebility Academy for the enhancement of teaching, learning, administration, and digital citizenship.
POLICY SCOPE
- Procurement of ICT devices and software.
- Device acquisition support for staff e.g via SACCO
- BYOD policy – guidelines for students and staff bringing personal devices to school.
- Acceptable use policy for ICTs and computer lab rules
- Inventory management: recording and monitoring ICT resources, including hardware and software.
- Maintenance and repair, servicing, replacement of ICT resources.
- Capacity development of ICT skills for staff and learners innovation clubs.
- School online platforms management and internet, social media and AI use policy.
- Digital safety and security guidelines for school data, devices and users
- Culture for consistent ICT integration in teaching, learning and school administration
- Roles and responsibilities for administrators, ICT patrons, staff, students, and parents.
